Subject

Description
Drawings and doodles in books are always fascinating for what they can tell us about the child artist. In these images there are two illustrations of navy vessels, one more complete than the other. They are incredibly detailed, as far as book doodles go, and it is clear that the child put a lot of time and effort into them, One ship features multiple waving American flags, railings and portholes. You cannot help but wonder why this child was so fascinated with these ships and where they learned about them or saw them.
